The Interact Club at The Cathedral Vidya School, Lonavala

"Dear Students, Do you want to make a difference? We, at the Interact Club of the Cathedral Vidya School, Lonavala, will help you do just that!" is the motto of this Club.

Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.The Cathedral Vidya School (Boarding School Near Me)has given students the opportunity to run their own Club.

The prime vision of the Interact club is to promote opportunities to return to society with service, upliftment and making a difference! The club members have a holistic approach towards their undertakings. They believe in - every small action and intention makes a big difference. That small action can have a huge impact on the lives of the people they intend to serve, the smiles on their faces, the inner happiness is what motivates all the 26 members to work collectively towards promoting a cause.

Through the club, the members not only help improve their environment but also develop their personality. Being a member of the Interact Club of the Cathedral Vidya School, Lonavala means something significant. Each and every member will definitely transforms into a new person after joining this club. They learn to be more open to different ideas and solutions, more compassionate, more independent and above all, better individuals.

It has been more than two months of hard work, patience, perseverance and change. They have held debates on topics that can improve aspects of society. They have had multiple discussions to find different ways through which they can make a change. They have found various perspectives and have incorporated them into determining the right plan of action.

The last session was dedicated to making charts to increase awareness of animal welfare and mental health.

In the next few sessions, they will be reaching out to the nearby villagers to explain the importance of a healthy body and society.

This club is the backbone and has always motivated them to focus on practical projects. Rotary Royales have supported the students in decision making and guidance. It is, therefore, our unanimous belief that every individual has the ability to make a difference. By joining the Interact Club of the Cathedral Vidya School, Lonavala that big question -'How' can be answered.
